The SSRU reverse unit delivers reliable conventional forward-neutral-reverse operation at the touch of your transformers direction button. Six-wheel die-cast trucks, stamped-steel frame, magnetic couplers, and brilliant illumination. The rolling stock includes two 6464 boxcars with overstamped merger markings - NYC/Penn Central Pacemaker and Pennsylvania/Conrail to capture the look of the late 60's/early 70's. Also included is the Edison 6461 depressed-center flatcar with transformer load, 6315 Sunoco Aviation Fuels one-dome tank car & 6417 Conrail N5c illuminated caboose with prototypically accurate blanked out rear portholes. Each piece rides on die-cast metal trucks, has magnetic couplers, and most include metal brake wheels.
