In 1950, Lionel cataloged a substantial bridge which, “Looks just like real! Operates just like real!” Models were made, and instructional manuals prepared. However, for reasons unknown to this day, the 213 was never made. Until now. ---Transfixed in Lionel lore, the 213 Lift Bridge makes its long-awaited debut in 2002. Constructed of sturdy metal, this model features a realistic counter weight system for raising and lowering the bridge. Custom gears and red warning lights on the towers add an extra level of detail.
